Thelma "Ruth" Mallicote

Thelma "Ruth" Mallicote, age 93 of Hamilton, passed away at Chesterwood Village on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 12:26 PM. She was born in Hazard, Kentucky on November 26, 1921 the daughter of Milo and Linda (Baker) Campbell. Thelma was employed as a supervisor at the Butler County Juvenile Court for numerous years, retiring in 1991. She was a member of First Church of God. On April 29, 1950 in Richmond, Indiana she married Delbert Mallicote and he preceded her in death in 2013.

She is survived by her son, Richard Wayne Mallicote of Hamilton; granddaughter, Kristi Michelle (Kevin) Allen; and two greatgrandchildren, Saydie and Parker Allen. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, David Gregory Mallicote; twin brothers, Sherman and Shearld Campbell; brother, Everett Campbell; and three sisters, Nora Colwell, Cassie Madden, and Fran Westfall.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Dave Garrett of New Haven Family Worship Center officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 12:00 noon to 1:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be directed to Hospice of Southwest Ohio.
