Theodore E. "Ted" Bachman, age 69 of St. Clair Township passed away at Mercy Hospital of Fairfield on Friday, September 12, 2008. He was born in Cincinnati on November 1, 1938 the son of Frank Theodore and Matilda (Steffis) Bachman. Ted was a veteran of the U.S. Army from 1961 to 1963. He was employed as a truck driver for Planeville Concrete. Ted was very involved with sports training through the Olympian Club. On July 7, 1962 in Las Vegas, Nevada he married Joyce Carole Doll.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Bachman of St. Clair Township; two sons, T. Troy (Gina) Bachman and Roby (Katy) Bachman, both of Hamilton; four grandchildren, Rachel, Tierney, Little Troy, and Tyler; one great-grandchild; and two sisters, Thelma and Pat. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Monday, September 15, 2008 at 7:00 PM with Rev. Jacob Flannery officiating. Cremation will follow. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The family extends a heartfelt thank you to C One Health Care for all their support and concern.
