Theresa Sullivan

Theresa Sullivan, age 77 of Hamilton passed away at home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at 2:30 PM. She was born in Lily, Kentucky on December 19, 1930 the daughter of Robert and Hazel (Sherman) Martin. Theresa was employed as the manager of Sullivan Flooring for 27 years and was a member of Cherry Valley United Baptist Church. On July 13, 1951 in Hamilton, she married Charles Sullivan. She is survived by her husband, Charles Sullivan of Hamilton; three sons, Charles (Peggy) Sullivan of Hamilton, Jeff (Maria) Sullivan of Fairfield, and David (Kelly) Sullivan of Hamilton; a daughter, Vicky (Kevin) Mapel of Camden; eight grandchildren, Tonya (Patrick) Wright, Charles Sullivan, Whitney Curtis, Heather Keller, Kylie Sullivan, Jeffrey Sullivan, and twins Tyler and Brady Sullivan; a great-granddaughter, Miranda Wright; a brother, Boyd (Phyllis) Martin of Fairfield; a beloved family friend and son, Kevin Lee "Cody" Campbell of Hamilton; and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Lawrence "Buck" Martin; and a sister, Bobbie Zadie Elton. Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Saturday, February 2, 2008 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Clovis Shackleford and former Pastor Roger Williams of Cherry Valley United Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Hickory Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
