Thomas E. Martin

Thomas E. Martin, age 63 of Fairfield Township passed away, as a result of an automobile accident, in Grant County, Kentucky on Thursday, June 10, 2010. He was born in Windber, Pennsylvania on June 12, 1946 the son of Tuio and Dorothy (DeBias) Martin. On January 23, 1971 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania he married Janice E. Felix. Thomas enjoyed cooking, landscaping, carpentry, and gardening but his greatest love was his grandchildren. He was employed as a regional manager for Sanese Services for the past twelve years and a member of St. Peter in Chains Catholic Church.

He is survived by wife Janice E. Martin of Fairfield Township; three children, Candace Martin of Cincinnati, Kristy (Steve) Witters of LaGrange, Kentucky, and Thomas E. (Sarah) Martin, Jr. of West Chester; his mother, Dorothy Martin of Johnstown, Pennsylvania; and four grandchildren, Kayla, Mark, Tyr, and Phoenix. He was preceded in death by his father, Tuio Martin.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter in Chains Church, 382 Liberty Avenue, on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at 10:00 AM with Father Timothy Bunch Celebrant. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Tuesday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
