Thomas N. "Moose" Minyard

Thomas N. "Moose" Minyard, age 77 of Hamilton, passed away at Fort Hamilton Hospital on Sunday, July 31, 2016 at 5:32PM. He was born in Hamilton on May 4, 1939 to Normous and Mary (Bowling) Minyard. Thomas was employed at Continental Can for 37 years. He was a member of AMVETS Post 1983 and the Monkey Mutual Aid Society. He enjoyed pitching horseshoes, fishing, and spending time with his friends. Most of all he loved being with his family.

He is survived by his brother, Ben (Faye) Minyard, his nieces; Mary (Darren) Edwards and Carolyn (Raymond) Kinsey, his nephew, Douglas Minyard, and several great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Thursday, August 4, 2016 at 11AM with Pastor Charles Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2016 from 10-11AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the charity of your choice.
