Thomas Richardson

Thomas Richardson, age 72 of Hamilton passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at 3:55 PM. He was born in Irvine, Kentucky on November 26, 1939 the son of Melvin and Gracie (Plowman) Richardson. Thomas owned Dick Jones Quality Meats from 1990 until retiring in 2000. He was a member of Freedom Baptist Church. On October 18, 1969 he married Lena Faye Miller.

He is survived by his wife, Lena Faye Richardson of Hamilton; children, Thomas Richardson Jr., Donna (Brian) Steavens, Michael (Rhonda) Richardson, all of Michigan, Thomas (Robyn) Miller Jr. of Trenton, Maureen Miller of Hamilton, and Russell (Sandy) Miller of Springdale; brothers, Cecil (Phyllis) Richardson of Fairfield and Alfred (Pam) Richardson of New Jersey; sisters, Katherine (Elmer) Harrison of Hamilton and Geraldine (Jim) McIntosh of Germantown; sister-in-law, Dot Richardson of Hamilton; grandchildren, Amanda, Jennifer, April, T.J., Jeffrey, Joseph, Kristina, Matthew, Jonathon, Michael, Nick, Brooke, and Joshua; and great-grandchildren, Hunter, Riley, and Maci. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Amos, Hargus, Lonzil, Malcolm, and Elmer Richardson; and sisters, Bessie Messeling, Delora Brinegar, Eva Duncan, and Carrie Bowling.

Visitation will be 11am until time of service (1pm), Monday, July 30, 2012, at the Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, with Rev. Paul Tillett of Freedom Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Millville Cemetery.
