Thomas "Dutch" Hamm

Thomas “Dutch” Hamm, age 94 of Fairfield, passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2022. Thomas was born in Hamilton, Ohio on April 22, 1928 to the late William and Anna (Montaque) Hamm. Thomas proudly served in the U.S. Navy before returning to his hometown of Hamilton to work at Champion Paper. He played sports all through high school and was a part of a local fast pitch soft ball team in his 20’s. Thomas was a devoted Cincinnati Reds fan and Kentucky Wildcat fan. He loved to play basketball with his grandson and friends and even won an MVP in the high school league “old timers” tournament as he continued to play later on in his years. Thomas was also a huge golf fan and played well into his 80’s. Thomas will be dearly missed by his wife, Edna Hamm; his grandchildren; Jason Bradshaw and his wife Caran Bradshaw; and great-grandchildren; Jason Jr, J.D., and Carina; and his sister, Marilyn. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter Sherry. Services will be private and held at the convivence of the family
