Tina E. Noes

Tina E. Noes, age 90 of Hamilton passed away at Butler County Care Facility on Sunday, July 25, 2010. She was born in Leesville, Louisiana on September 22, 1919 the daughter of Frank and Louella (Priest) Petree. Tina was employed as a clerk at 5 Points Market for 25 years, retiring in 1980. She was a member of Mt. Olive Presbyterian Church. On March 5, 1938 in Beaumont, Texas she married Joseph Noes, and he preceded her in death on April 2, 1997.

She is survived by two sons, Melvin Lee (Carol) Noes and Donald W. (Linda) Noes, both of Hamilton; four grandchildren, Melvin Noes Jr., Lisa Bowling, Melanie Stamper, and Kimber Leigh Reece; five great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Petree and Louella Petree-Hines; four brothers, Willis, Walter, Jessie, and Clyde Petree; and five sisters, Ollie Johnson, Mary Dijoni, Mildred Hunt, Beatrice Rodriguez, and Frances Ashcraft.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at 12:00 noon with Pastor Harold Thompson of Stahlheber Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Vitas Hospice. The family extends a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Reyes and staff, the staff of Butler County Care Facility, and the staff of Vitas Hospice for their care and concern.
