Tishabelle Jones

Tishabelle Jones, age 91 of Hamilton passed away at Hawthorn Glen Nursing Center on Friday, April 18, 2008 at 9:28 PM. She was born in Leslie County, Kentucky on August 6, 1916 the daughter of Harrison and Lellie (Begley) Begley. Tishabelle attended the Cherry Valley United Baptist Church. On December 24, 1935 in Leslie County, Kentucky she married Joseph Jones and he preceded her in death in 1987.

She is survived by three sons, Bobby (Janet) Jones of Fairfield, Billy (Laura) Jones of Louisville, Kentucky, and Harrison (Cindy) Jones of Henryville, Indiana; one daughter, Betty (Marty) Imhoff of Fairfield; brother, Adam Begley of Williamsburg, Kentucky; sister, Dorothy Huff of Confluence, Kentucky; 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Henry Jones; daughter, Ruth Gatliff; five brothers, Ted, Sam, Troy, Fred, and Delmer Begley; and sister, Nannie Jones.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at 7:00 PM with Rev. Jacob Flannery officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A graveside service will be held at the Begley Cemetery, Leslie County, Kentucky, on Wednesday at 2:00 PM.
