Tommy Marinich, age 80 of Hamilton passed away at his residence on Sunday, November 7, 2010 at 12:40 PM. He was born in Hardburley, Kentucky on June 23, 1930 the son of John and Margaret (Eversole) Marinich. Tommy was employed at Atomic Energy for 18 years and as a truck driver for Rumpke for 20 years. On May 11, 1951 in Walkertown, Kentucky he married Carolyn Strunk.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Marinich of Hamilton; two sons, Michael (Patsy) Marinich of Celina, Tennessee and Thomas Russell (Kimberly) Marinich of Hamilton; two daughters, Elizabeth Carol Marinich of Hamilton and Vickie Lynne (Steve) Keim of Lynchburg, Ohio; a sister, Gloria Faye Webb and her son Dereck Webb, both of Norwood; 8 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and several siblings.
A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. The family extends a heartfelt thank you to Hospice of Hamilton and to Connie Wilson, Tommy’s caregiver, for all their care and support.
