Treva Barrett

Treva D. Barrett, age 82 of Hamilton, passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2025. Treva was born in Powell County, Kentucky on April 8, 1943 to Herman Begley and Nancy (Larison) Begley. She gave her life to the Lord in 1968. Treva loved the Lord, and instilled Godly characteristics in her children and all those who came to visit. She served faithfully at Barrett International Ministry under Senior Pastor Greg Barrett, her son. Treva enjoyed gardening, flowers, and visits from her good friends, Vicki Rennick and the Smiths.

Treva is survived by her children, Sherry (Mike) Radovich, Randy (Karen) Barrett, Greg (Myrna) Barrett, Angie (Kanani) Whaley and Chris Barrett; grandchildren, Brandon Radovich, Christina (Dustin) Lucas, Jeff (Jamie) Lewis, Jason Lewis, Jacob Lewis, Gregory (Evelyn) Barrett II, Erica Franklin, Tyler Snell, Alea (Thomas) Jordan, Aisha Jordon, Ryan Whaley, Adam Whaley, Kye Whaley, and Brandon Whaley; 34 great-grandchildren; as well as many extended family members and close friends. Treva was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Nancy Begley; her husband of over 60 years, George Barrett; brother, Winferd Begley; sister, JoAnne Moore; nieces, Penny Withrow and Shanda Withrow; and nephews, Junior Moore and Rick Begley.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Friday, June  6, 2025 at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, June  6, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home.
