Van P. Reasch, age 80 of Fairfield, passed away at UC Health Drake Center on Sunday, June 23, 2013. He was born in Hamilton on April 23, 1933 to John and Gladys (Hawkins) Reasch. Van was retired from White City Auto Parts. He was a member of the AmVets Post 71 in Fairfield, and the VFW #1069 in Fairfield.
He is survived by 2 sisters, Juanita Tirey, and Naomi (Don) Martin; a brother, Thomas Reasch; companion, Wanda Leifheit; step-daughter, Teresa Berge; a grandson, Jason Berge; sister-in-law, Christa Reasch; goddaughter, Angela Vaness Reasch; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, John "Juni" Reasch Jr.; sister, Pauline "Sissy" Doan.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2013 from 10:00 AM until time of service (11:00 AM) at the Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue with Pastor Ron Stewart of High Street Baptist officiating. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery.
