Verlyn L. Perry

Verlyn L. Perry, age 87 of Hamilton, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, December 14, 2022. Verlyn was born in Hamilton, Ohio on December 29, 1934, to George Perry and Stella Viola VanWinkle Garrett.  Verlyn was a member of Princeton Pike Church of God.  Verlyn was a very talented Artist, and he took pride in his Flower Garden that was admired by his neighbors.

Verlyn is survived by his children, Brenda Harris, Kim Downard, and his Step Children, Sheila (Brown) Campbell, Shirley (Terry) Newton, Cathy(Steve) Blevins, and Bill(Sheila) Tirey; his 2 Sisters-Carol (Macel) Ely, Marilyn (James) Pierce and his Sister-In-Law-Linda Perry; 1 Brother-Ira Harrison;  his Son In Law-Mark Susco; his many Grandchildren Tiffany Meadows, Brandon (Molly) Adams, Nikki Adams, Lacey (Ken) Curtis, David (Amanda) Smith, and his Step Grandchildren Michelle (Greg) Allen, Brian (Kami) Tirey, Tara Lewis, Christine (Slawek) Gorczyk, Melissa Campbell Wardlow, Shane (Jeannette) Blevens,and Brent (Lisa) Blevens. Verlyn was also survived by several Great Grandchildren, and Nephews and Niece’s.

Verlyn was preceded in death by his Father George (Sara) Perry and his Mother-Stella Viola Garrett and his Step Father - Elbert Garrett; the Mother of His Children-Onalee Webb Perry, and his Wife-Eva Jean Wright-Perry; 2 of his Daughters - Robin Perry and Rhonda Susco; his 4 Brothers- Darrell Perry, Raymond Perry, Curtis Perry and David Garrett; his Son In Law-Kenny Harris.

Verlyn was also proceeded in Death by his 2 Grandsons-Michael Ray Meadows, and Dylan Jacob Downard.

A Graveside Funeral service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery, 1602 Greenwood Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio, on Monday, December 19, 2022 at 11:00 AM with Macel Ely Sr., officiating.
