Vertis Willis

Vertis Ann Willis, age 74 of Hamilton, passed away at Ft. Hamilton Hospital on Saturday, July 22, 2017. Vertis was born in Hamilton, Ohio on November 3, 1942 to James and Ann (Broughton) Lewis. She was a devoted member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Vertis was a kind-hearted and loving caregiver; so therefore, she received a certificate for outstanding service.

Vertis is survived by her children, Elizabeth (John) Snyder, Donna (Keith) Hobbs, Lisa (Patrick) Ervolina, and Rayetta (Sean) Bowser; her sister, Karen Willis; her grandchildren, Brandi, Bradley, Joshua, Jason, Jessica, Jennifer, Lydia, and Brooke; her great grandchildren, Ava, Anya, Ronin, Austin, Darrin, Case, and three girls on the way. Vertis was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, George Seigle, and her friend, Odette Sparrow.

Memorial service will be held at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1995 Jesse Dr., Hamilton, Ohio, on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at 12:00 PM with Br. Parker officiating. Memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
