Vickie Chafin

Victoria Kay Chafin, age 57 of Fairfield, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Wednesday, June 21, 2017. Vickiewas born in Hamilton, Ohio on July 2, 1959 to Edsel and Rosemary (Hymer) Harrison. She was an ’77 Talawanda graduate. On April 26, 1986 she married the love of her life, Jody Chafin. They resided in Middletown for 29 years, raising their children. Vickie loved horses and all other animals. She enjoyed listening to music, especially her husband’s band, B-Caged, and taking photos of them play. Vickie loved to karaoke to all the man hatin’ songs.

Vickie is survived by her husband of 31 years, Jody Chafin; her children, Cody (Megan) Chafin and Haley (J.D.) Wheeler; her siblings, Edsel Harrison Jr., Crystal "Cricket" Brown, Mike Harrison, Larry Harrison; and many other loving family members and friends. Vickie was preceded in death by her parents, Edsel and Rosemary Harrison.

Celebration of Life Service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio, on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be made to the funeral home in Vickie's name to help fund the funeral services.
