Victor Scalf

Victor Scalf, age 50 of Hamilton passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Tuesday, July 29, 2008. He was born in Leslie County, Kentucky on November 22, 1957 the son of Sylvester and Mollie (Bowling) Scalf. Victor was very artistic and loved to draw.

He is survived by four brothers, Lester Scalf, Lonnie Scalf, James Scalf, and Oscar Scalf, all of Hamilton; three sisters, Velda Roberts, Barbara Scalf, and Linda (Gary) Bryant, all of Hamilton; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Pauline Proffitt.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Friday, August 1, 2008 at 12:00 noon with Rev. Larry Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati. Victor’s family extends a heartfelt thank you to Drs. William Krall and Evan Lang, and the staffs of Hospice of Hamilton and 5 Main at Ft. Hamilton Hospital for all their care and concern.
