Vicy Burns-Spurlock

Vicy Burns-Spurlock, age 80 of Hamilton passed away at Mercy Hospital Fairfield on Thursday, April 21, 2011. She was born in Manchester, Kentucky on July 30, 1930 the daughter of Luther George and Cora (Holland) Martin. Vicy was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a member of and was baptized at Island Creek Baptist Church in Manchester, Kentucky.

She is survived by two sons, Don (Marietta) Spurlock and Charles Spurlock; a daughter, Carol (Don) Briede; a sister, Loretta Morgan and Abe; grandchildren Todd (Donna) Spurlock, Chad Spurlock, Aaron (Wendy) Spurlock, Shaun Spurlock, Ricky Heaberlin, Ryan (Connie) Heaberlin , Ryan (Joanna) Briede, and Jennifer (Collin) Poe; 10 great-grandchildren; a special cousin, Mary Campbell; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Frank Spurlock and William Burns; two brothers, Charlie and Hugh; and two sisters, Beulah and Irene.

A graveside funeral service will be held at Butler County Memorial Park on Monday, April 25, 2011 at 2:00 PM.
