Vincent William Rohrig, Jr.

Vincent William Rohrig, Jr., age 62 of Oxford passed away on Saturday, September 1, 2007 at his residence. He was born September 17, 1944 in Glendale, Ohio the son of Vincent and Elizabeth (Irvin) Rohrig. Vincent graduated from Princeton High School and served in the Unites States Air Force during the Vietnam Era. He worked for International Paper Company for 28 years and recently for Grafcor, Inc., part-time after early retirement in order to work on the family farm. Vince’s greatest enjoyments were working on his farm, spending time with his children, gardening, helping others, and the outdoors, especially camping with his children. He was a loving and devoted father who always placed the needs of his children first.

Vince is survived by his two sons, Vincent William Rohrig III of Oxford and Douglas Allen Rohrig of Hamilton; grandchildren Jessica Marie Rohrig, Jesse Daniel Johnson and Douglas Cole Rohrig; mother of his children, Rose Mary (Carter) Wyatt of Hamilton; two brothers, Ken Rohrig of Cincinnati and Steve Rohrig of Centerville; six sisters, Elizabeth Kramer of Cincinnati, Mary Cradler of Sharonville, Janet Kuhl of Colerain, Judith Leder of Springdale, Linda French of Sun City, South Carolina, and Brenda Bourdage of Atlanta, Georgia; and many other loving relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; son Richard Carter Rohrig; and brother Timothy Rohrig.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Friday, September 7, 2002 at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM.
