Viola Imogene Buck

Viola Imogene Buck, age 76 of Hamilton passed away at Huntington Court on Monday, April 23, 2007 at 9:15 AM. She was born in Hamilton on August 10, 1930 the daughter of Grover and Emma (Logsdon) Scrivner. Viola was employed as an office worker at Formica, retiring in 1997. She enjoyed monthly get-togethers and luncheon dates with former Hamilton High School classmates, "The Lunch Bunch Class of ’48," with whom she kept in touch over the years. On January 30, 1971 in Covington, Kentucky she married Cloyd Arnold Buck, and he preceded her in death in 1989.

She is survived by three brothers, Paul Scrivner of Hamilton, Alson Scrivner of Lima, Ohio, and Leroy Scrivner of Hamilton; and many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Wayne, Irrie, and Elbert Scrivner; and a sister, Ina Sharp.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Thursday, April 26, 2007 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Ron Medley of Princeton Pike Church of God officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Viola’s family extends a special thank you to Hospice of Cincinnati, Dr. Anthony, and the nurses at Huntington Court for the care she received.
