Virgil E. Baumer

Virgil E. Baumer, age 79 of Hamilton, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, September 29, 2015. He was born in Tulsa County, Oklahoma on March 13, 1936 the son of Walter and Naomi (Furrow) Baumer. Virgil was a member of Princeton Pike Church of God and also employed as the custodian there for twenty-two years, retiring in 2003. On August 3, 1968 in Elmwood Place he married Carleta Flynn.

He is survived by wife, Carleta Baumer; three children, Eddie Baumer,Tammy Baumer, and David Baumer, all of Hamilton; one brother, Monte (Jessie)Baumer of Fairfield; his sister-in-law, Joan Craycraft of Columbus; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents, and three siblings, Lawrence Baumer, Freida Baker, and Loretta Baumer.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Monday, October 5, 2015 at 12 noon with Rev. Jake Jacobs officiating.
