Virgil Eversole

Virgil Eversole, age 79 of Hamilton, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Tuesday, September 17, 2013. He was born in Harlan County, KY on December 14, 1933 to John and Sarah (Wagers) Eversole. Virgil was employed as a construction worker for Local #534 for 22 years, retiring in 1987.

He is survived by four sons, Bruce Eversole, Timothy (Judy) Eversole, Randall (Jody) Eversole, and Virgil Eversole Jr.; 4 grandsons, Brian Eversole, Randall Eversole, Timmie Eversole, and George Eversole; 5 granddaughters, Roseanna Martin, Tiffany (Dwayne) Chansler, Ashley Martin, Lauren Scott, and Leeanna Eversole; 4 great-grandchildren, Devin Martin, David Martin, Konnor Martin, and Jackson Martin; 3 brothers, Daw Eversole, Alfred Eversole, and Coy Eversole; a sister, Laura; and a former spouse, Anna Lee Pater. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Joann Eversole; his parents, John and Sarah Eversole; a brother, Charles Eversole; a sister, Rachael Eversole; and a great-grandson, Kameron Martin.

Funeral service will be held the Brown-Dawson- Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
