Walker "Tony" Brandenburg

Walker “Tony” Brandenburg, age 61 of Hamilton, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, May 31 ^st , 2021 after a three year fight with pancreatic cancer. Tony was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on July 4, 1959 to Walker and Nita Brandenburg. Tony graduated from Garfield High School class of 1977, he continued his education at Miami University, receiving an associates & bachelor’s degree. Tony worked for Pepsi, Kraft General Foods and for the Butler County Sheriff’s Department. For over 30 years, Tony ran his own accounting and tax preparation business. Tony enjoyed attending Red’s baseball games, for the people watching, going on random long drives and going to the movies. But his favorite times were spent in the backyard, having bonfires and family cookouts.

Tony is survived by his children, Samantha, Robert (Cloe), Diane, Athena (Ashley) and Hannah Brandenburg; his grandchildren, Allexzander, Kaiden, Aubreigh and Kaizer; his siblings, Denise and Brian Brandenburg; his sister-in-law, Bonnie Brandenburg; many nieces and nephews and his beloved dogs. Tony was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Lenn Brandenburg; and even more dogs.

Visitation will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio, on Saturday, June 5, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude’s Hospital.
