Walter Hubbard

Walter D. Hubbard, age 65 of Hamilton, passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2018. Walter was born in Morristown, Tennessee on June 17, 1952 to William Hubbard and Betty Jo Norton Hubbard Davis. Walter married Allie Phelps in 1971 Jellico, TN. He enjoyed watching his favorite Nascar driver, Jimmy Johnson, gardening, fishing, going to the casino and spending time with his grandchildren.

Walter is survived by his wife of 47 years, Allie Hubbard; children, Susan Michelle (Jerry Hall) O'Connor, David Gene Stephens and James Patrick Stephens, Jeanette (Mark) Chamberlain, Marcia A. Smith; father, William (Connie) Hubbard; sisters, Joyce (Henry) Stroud and Brenda Hilsercop; grandchildren, Haley, Ashley, Tyler, Amanda, Robert, Megan, Heather, Jamie, Gail, Marybeth, James, Christian, Danielle, Justin, Tiffany and Andrew; numerous, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Walter was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Jo Davis; sister, Linda Taylor; grandchildren, Jacob and Christy; in-laws, Beve and Ida Phelps and several brother and sister in-laws.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home.
