Wanda Jean Lainhart

Wanda Jean Lainhart, 79, of Hamilton, OH, passed away on August 24, 2026. She was born in McKee, KY on May 14, 1947 to James and Beulah Baker. Wanda loved the Lord and was an avid puzzle-solver, gardener, and canner. She could frequently be seen sitting on her porch listening to her wind chimes and napping.

She is survived by her daughters, Loretta Lainhart and Michelle Lainhart; her son, Lowell (Anna) Lainhart; her sisters, Ruth Peters, and Karen Stidham; her brother Keith (Lisa) Baker; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; her friend and caregiver Melinda, who called her Mama; and her dancing buddy Eddie. Wanda was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Judy Harrison.

There will be a visitation on Wednesday evening, September 2, 2026 at the Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home located at 1350 Millville Avenue from 5pm to 7pm. A funeral service will follow, officiated by Rev. Gary Beard of the Rock of Salvation Church. A second visitation and funeral will be held for family and friends in McKee, KY on Friday, September 4, 2026 from 12pm to 2pm at the Pilgrim's Rest Baptist Church Fellowship Hall followed by interment in Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery located at 2500 Pilgrims Rest Road in McKee.
