Wanda L. Merry

Wanda L. Merry, age 78 of Hamilton passed away at Ft. Hamilton Hospital on Friday, June 29, 2012 at 10:00 AM. She was born in West Chester on May 16, 1934 the daughter of George and Mabel (Dingman) Winsted. On November 6, 1952 she married Lloyd J. Merry, and he preceded her in death in 2010.

She is survived by five sons, Richard Merry, William (Lori) Merry, Florin Merry, all of Hamilton, Jeff Merry of Trenton, and Thomas Merry, of Hamilton; three daughters, Charlene (John) Branham of Hamilton, Thelma Grimes of Sherwood, and Margie Coots of Trenton; 17 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Kenneth Merry; two brothers, Robert and Harry Winsted; and a sister, Laverne Langley.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Mike Callihan of Living Work Missionary Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held Monday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
