Wanda Yvonne Wilmer

Wanda Yvonne Wilmer, age 74 of Hamilton passed away at her residence on Tuesday, June 23, 2009. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on January 28, 1935 the daughter of Loraine and Grace (Houston) Flanery. Wanda was employed as a cashier with Super X for 10 years and later as the owner and operator of a cleaning services company for 15 years, retiring in 2008. In November 1953 she married David "Bud" Wilmer in Liberty, Indiana and he preceded her in death in 1996.

She is survived by three daughters, Candie (Greg) Bower of Fairfield Township, Michele (George McNally) Keene of Hamilton, and Shawna (Darrell Stewart) Wilmer of Manchester, Kentucky; three sons, Timothy (Susie) Wilmer, Miles Wilmer, and Tyson Wilmer, all of Hamilton; twelve grandchildren, Angie, Brandon, Nicholas, Drew, Rachel, Courtney, Cody, Dalton, Hayley, Houston, Tony, and Phillip; five great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Elijah, Aiden, Samantha, and Sydney; two special friends, Jewell and Edith; and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Michael Wilmer; and two brothers, Paul and Eddie Gene Flanery.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Thursday, June 25, 2009 at 12:00 noon with Pastor Harville Duncan of Walden Ponds Community Church of the Nazarene. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon.
