Warren Brockman

Warren Brockman, age 76 of Hamilton passed away at Hospice of Hamilton at Sunrise on Sunday, April 15, 2007 at 7:21 PM. He was born in Fairfield Township on October 27, 1930 the son of Elbe and Birdie (Stewart) Brockman. Warren was employed as a plasterer for Union Local #1 and was a member of God’s House of Sure Deliverance. On February 9, 1952 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana he married Rita Hurley.

He is survived by his wife, Rita "Ronnie" Brockman of Hamilton; three sons, Rick Brockman of Liberty, Indiana, Jerry Brockman of Hamilton, and Mark Brockman of Springfield, Missouri; three daughters, Kim Lathey, Connie Brockman, both of Hamilton, and Carol (Alan) Burkead of Lebanon; a brother, Merle Brockman of Hamilton; five sisters, Lola Mae Donald of Fairfield, Viola Cornett of Fairfield Township, Mabel Bailey, Wanda Oliver, both of Hamilton, and Dorothy (Harry) Hale of Somerset, Kentucky; nine grandchildren, Christy (Jeff) Vierling, Carrie (Charles) Payne, Tracy Brockman, Kathy Brockman, all of Hamilton, Rebecca (Ricky) Taylor, Mary Brockman, both of Springfield, Missouri, David Lathey, Douglas Lathey, and Kristia Brockman, all of Hamilton; six great-grandchildren, Megan Vierling, Kaylen Vierling, Breanna Payne, Cameron Payne, Ricky Taylor, and Zakhary Taylor; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; two daughters, Amy Brockman and Leila Brockman; a sister, Opal Loman; and two brothers, Bradley Brockman and Darryl Brockman.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Friday, April 20, 2007 at 10:00 AM with Revs. Homer and Brenda Stevens officiating. Burial will follow in Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
