Warren G. Coates

Warren G. Coates, age 87 of Hamilton passed away at Mercy Hospital of Fairfield on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at 2:45 PM. He was born in Waynesville, Ohio on May 29, 1922. Warren was a veteran of the U.S. Army during World War II from 1942 to 1945. He was employed as a machinist at General Electric, retiring in 1982. Warren was a member of Fairfield Church of God. On November 6, 1992 in Hamilton, he married Wilma J. (Fee) Isaacs.

He is survived by his wife, Wilma J. Coates of Hamilton; six children, Larry (Donna) Coates of West Chester, Roger (Mary Ann) Coates of Mason, Nancy Coates of Cincinnati, Tina (Joe) Marra of Dayton, Ted Coates of Morrow, and Tracy (Kevin) Rathwig of Lebanon; a stepson, Glen (Debbie) Isaacs of Dallas, Texas; a sister, Frances Fulford of Florida; 14 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; a stepson, Gary Lee Isaacs; and ten siblings.

Funeral service will be held at the Fairfield Church of God, 6001 Dixie Highway, on Saturday, January 30, 2010 at 11:00 with Pastor Darryl McCoy officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
