Weldon R. Holt

Weldon R. Holt, age 82 of Hamilton, passed away at his residence on Friday, October 30, 2015 at 6:41AM. He was born in London, KY on September 10, 1933 to Walter and Ida (Callahan) Holt. Weldon was employed at Mosler Safe Company for 30 years, retiring in 1993. He was a member of The Pentecostal Highway of Holiness Church. Weldon enjoyed gardening and farming for many years. On November 14, 1953 in Liberty, IN, he married Eva Smith.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years Eva Holt; two sons, Terry (Joan) Holt and Randy Holt; five grandchildren; Chris, Ryan, Corey, Holly, and Hailey; six great grandchildren; Makenzie, Jaylen, Madison, Savannah, Brylee, and Korah; and two sisters of London, KY. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Michael R. Holt; and one daughter Patricia Ann Hartman.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 1, 2015 from 2PM-4PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave. Funeral service will be held at Bowling Funeral Home, 1704 N Main St, London, KY on Monday, November 2, 2015 at 1PM with Bobby Harris officiating.
