Willa M. Vierling

Willa M. Vierling, age 68 of Hamilton passed away at Butler County Care Facility on Monday, May 30, 2011 at 2:00 AM. She was born in Owsley County, Kentucky on October 6, 1942 the daughter of Everett and Fannie (Barrett) Roberts. Willa was formally employed at Howard Johnson’s and at Lakeman Cleaning. She was a member of New Beginning Tabernacle and enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by five children, Wayne Vierling, Lisa (the late Michael) DeVoe, Melinda Kay (Jeff) Nelson, Jeff (Cristy) Vierling, and Dorothy (Terry) Combs, all of Hamilton; her mother, Fannie Martin of Hamilton; two sisters, Irene (Eugene) Brumett of Austin, Indiana and Mildred (the late Donald) Vierling of St. Paul, Indiana; a brother, Thomas Martin of Phoenix, Arizona; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Vierling; a grandson, Jeffrey Nelson; her father, Everett Roberts; and her stepfather, John C. Martin.

Funeral service will be held at New Beginning Tabernacle, 5761 Ramona Lane, on Thursday, June 2, 2011 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Charles Petit and Pastor Buddy Cook officiating. Burial will follow in Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Wednesday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the staffs of Caring Hearts, Pinnacle and Pass Port for their care and concern.
