Willard R. Denning, age 75 of Hamilton passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Monday, March 21, 2011 at 10:05 AM. He was born in Flint, Michigan on August 15, 1935 the son of Walter and Lillian (Smith) Denning. Willard served in the Ohio National Guard and was employed as a line technician and installer for Cincinnati Bell and Q West Telecommunications for 33 years, retiring in 1986.
He is survived by two children, Lara (John) Richter of West Chester and Paul (Malinda) Denning of Summerville, South Carolina; five grandchildren, Elizabeth, Rebecca, Kristin, Amanda, and Matthew; three great-grandchildren, Sadie Marie, Jayden, Matthew, and Kylie; and his companion and friend, Neva Denning.
A memorial service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Monday, March 28, 2011 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Tim Smith of East River Road Baptist Church officiating. Memorial visitation will be held Monday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the funeral home. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Mercy Fairfield Three Tower, ICU, and Hospice of Hamilton for all their care and support.
