William H. Bailey, age 82 of Hamilton passed away at Kettering Medical Center on Friday, November 22, 2013 at 3:23 PM. He was born in London, Kentucky on September 18, 1931 the son of Richard Lee and Cora (Eaton) Bailey. William was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict from 1948 to 1951. He was employed as an exterminator at Extermital Termite Service for 37 years, retiring in 1993. He was a member of North Point Pentecostal Church. William was a faithful Man of God and his church and family were the most important things in his life. On April 28, 1953 in London, Kentucky he married Rose George.
He was a loving husband and father who is survived by his wife, Rose Bailey of Hamilton; five children, Harold Wayne Bailey, Debora (Burchill) Kinkade, Sherry (Marvin) Jones, Sandy Henson, and Linda (Ron) Hawk, all of Hamilton; special friend; Ron (Peggy) House, who he raised; brother, Art (Carol) Bailey of Utah; two sisters, Dora (Jesse) Sweet of Corbin, Kentucky, and Rose (Butch) Lockabey of London, Kentucky; 14 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Cliff Bailey, Denver Bailey and Stanton Bailey; and two sisters, Ann VanHook and Shirley McNeil.
Funeral service will be held at North Point Pentecostal Church, 263 Hancock Avenue, on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Dean Lunsford officiating. Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday from 12:00 noon to 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers donations can be directed to North Point Pentecostal Church, 263 Hancock Avenue, Hamilton 45011.
