William F. Boyd Jr.

William Frank Boyd Jr., age 80 of Hamilton, passed away at his residence on Monday, October 26, 2026. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on October 22, 1946 the son of William Sr. and Mary Helen (Wolpert) Boyd. Bill was a veteran of Vietnam with the United States Navy from 1966 to 1970. He was employed by the Internal Revenue Service for twenty-six years, retiring in 2001. Bill was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church.

Bill is survived by his son, Frank (Michelle) Boyd; two grandchildren, Kyle and Wesley Boyd; four siblings, Mike (Kathy) Boyd, Tom (Chris) Boyd, Darlene Boyd, and Mary Kay (Steve) Slattery; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Bill was preceded in death by his parents; his spouse, Gloria Carol Boyd, and longtime companion, Rosalie Owens.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 2550 Millville Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Saturday, October 31, 2026 at 10:30 AM with Fr. Richard Walling, Celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Stephen Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the church. Memorial contributions can be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
