William J. Clark Jr., age 93 of Hamilton, passed away at Fort Hamilton Hospital on Monday, August 24, 2015 at 10:15AM. He was born in Hamilton on August 21, 1922 to William and Leona (Troutman) Clark. William was a 1941 graduate of Ross High School. He was a WWII Veteran serving in the United States Army from 1942-1946. William was employed at Champion Paper for 32 years retiring in 1984. He was a member of Hamilton Christian Center, and a lifetime member of the full gospel fellowship. He was involved in various fishing clubs and an avid fisherman. He loved traveling, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by two children, Daniel (Judy) Clark and Mimi (Steve) Morgan; five grandchildren, Tiffany, Renee, Shane, Shawn, Austin; two step grandchildren, Terry (Rhonda) Grabel and Alan Grabel; several great-grandchildren and many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Clark and his parents.
Funeral service will be held at Hamilton Christian Center, 1940 Millville Avenue , on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 11AM with Rev. Johnny Wade Sloan officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2015 from 10-11AM at the church. Condolences can be made at www.browndawsonflick.com.
