William H. Cornn, age 89 of Hamilton passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2012. He was born July 19, 1922, to Betty and Vince Cornn in Hazard, KY. He married Margaret Nolan April 18, 1940. William is a WWII veteran of the United States Army.
Williams is survived by his wife, Margaret Cornn; children, William (Carol) Cornn, Jr., Sheridan (Pat) Cornn, Danny (Elaine) Cornn, Paul (Bonnie) Cornn and Betty (Don Dixon) McGary; grandchildren, Vickie (Doug) Stevens, Kim (Chuck) Akers, Brian Cornn, Lynn, Danny Joe Cornn, Christy Cornn, Michael (Mariel) Cornn, Angie (Darryl) Akers and Fred (Daffney) McGary; and great grandchildren, Kayla Akers, Dylan Akers, Logan Cornn, Lindsey Cornn, Bradley Stevens, Aaron Stevens, Kenneth Stevens and Nathan Akers. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be 5-7 pm, Friday, January 13, 2012 at the Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave, Hamilton. Funeral service will be held at 1pm, Saturday, January 14, 2012, also at the funeral home with Rev. Doug Stevens and Rev. Chuck Akers officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park in Hamilton.
