William F. "Bill" Isaacs

William F. "Bill" Isaacs, age 83 of New Miami, passed away at Fort Hamilton Hospital on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 4:18 PM. He was born in New Miami on May 15, 1930 the son of William Turner Isaacs and Laurabelle Thompson. Bill was employed at Armco Steel for 42 years, retiring in 1992. On December 27, 1950 in New Miami he married Betty Jean Bunch.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Betty Jean Isaacs of New Miami; five children, Marva Johnson of Bradley, Arkansas, Billy Isaacs of New Miami, Bobby Isaacs of Hamilton, Leslie "Gail" Isaacs of New Miami, and Butch Isaacs of New Miami; eleven grandchildren, Ronnie (Kim) Bowman, Laura Osborne, Steven (Morgan) Isaacs, Rhonda (Trevor) Hunt, Rob, Brad, and Timmy Wallace, Angelina (Steve) Moore, Summer McDaniel, Bobby and Tasha Isaacs; numerous great grandchildren, including Sara and Amanda; niece, Alice Deaton of Seven Mile; loving dog, Bubba; and many other relatives and friends including, Amanda Tribbey. He was preceded in death by mother and father; his daughter, Audrey Bowman; grandson, Jonathon Isaacs; son-in-law, Sonny Johnson; a brother, Chuck Cain; and his nephew, Cash Cain.

Funeral service will be held at Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Denny Fields of New Liberty United Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Hickory Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
