William J. Fox, age 76 of Hamilton, passed away at Bethesda North Hospital on Wednesday, March 8, 2017. He was born in Hamilton on March 11, 1940 the son of Laddie and Alma V. (Young) Fox. On December 23, 1977 in Hamilton he married Andrea "Bunny" Ash. William was employed as a caterer for Eaton Manor for number of years. He was a member of Pater Avenue Free Pentecostal Church of God and an avid collector of police cars.
He is survived by his wife, Andrea "Bunny" Fox of Hamilton; one brother, Roger (Phyllis) Fox of Hamilton; sister-in-law, Sandy (Rick) Johnson of Hamilton; a daughter of the heart, Charlotte Miller of Tennessee; and numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, William Bryan Fox; and six siblings, Charlie, Ben, Jay, and Wayne Fox, Mary Helen Ruoff, and Bessie Couch.
Funeral service will be held at Pater Avenue Free Pentecostal Church of God, 1321 Pater Avenue, Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at 12:00 PM with Pastor Denny Matheny. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the church. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to his long time aide, Tammy Simpson, Hamilton Paramedics and Firefighters, and the staff of Bethesda North Hospital for all their care and support.
