William Robert "Bill" Frazier, age 87 of Hamilton passed away at Ft. Hamilton Hospital on Monday, April 25, 2011 at 1:00 AM. He was born in Hamilton on September 13, 1923 the son of Robert V. and Lillian (Tegeder) Frazier and was a graduate of Ross Township High School. Bill was a veteran of the U.S. Navy during World War II from 1943 to 1945, and was aboard the Battleship Missouri when the peace treaty with Japan was signed. He was a self-employed CPA and was involved with various service-related organizations over the years.
He is survived by a sister, Betty Walls of Union, Ohio; two nieces, Melissa (Terry) Kilbarger of Middletown and Jane (Allen) Grubbs of Union, Ohio; a nephew, Rev. William (Sandra) Walls of Convoy, Ohio; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Evelyn Himmelhaver; and a brother, James Frazier.
Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Friday, April 29, 2011 at 11:00 AM with Rev. William Walls of First Baptist Church of Celina officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
