William Chester Hubbard

William C. (Billy) Hubbard, 85, of Hamilton, passed away at home on Tuesday, October 6, 2026. Bill was born in Hamilton, Ohio on March 15, 1941, to Jim and Maggie (Gipson) Hubbard. He married the love of his life, Rhonda Sue Couch in Jellico, TN. Survivors include his wife Rhonda; two wonderful sons, William M. (Kelly) Hubbard, Daniel Hubbard, and a very loved daughter, Joyce (Mike) Blust; four very special grandchildren, Brent (Madison) Blust, Trey, Brooke and Isabella (Izzy) Hubbard; as well as many other loving relatives and friends. Bill's children and grandchildren were the pride and joy of his life. He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents, Leonard and Cora Gipson; three uncles, Bill, Elmer and Harry (Joann) Gipson; and a beloved nephew, Richard Spurlock.

Bill was educated in the Hamilton City School District. He was a member of Carpenter's Local 637 for 40 years. Bill loved to travel with his wife and family every opportunity he got. His favorite places were the Caribbean, the white sand beaches of Florida, the Smokey Mountains, and Nashville. He was also an avid car and truck enthusiast, frequenting many car and truck shows in his travels.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Bill at the Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio, on Monday, October 12, 2026 from 10am until the time of the funeral service at 12pm. Pastor Drew Wilkerson, Bridgewater Church will officiate. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. At the family's request, a donation to St. Jude's in Bill's name in lieu of flowers is greatly appreciated.
