William R. Kraus

William R. Kraus, age 79 of Dillsboro, Indiana passed away at Fort Hamilton Hospital on Saturday, February 16, 2008 at 2:08 AM. He was born in Hooven, Ohio on September 28, 1928 the son of Robert and Nellie (Poe) Kraus. William was a veteran of the Korean War with the United States Air Force from 1951 to 1955 and was employed as an iron worker for Local # 44 for 25 years, retiring in 1983. He is survived by a son, Michael W. (April) Kraus of Hamilton; a daughter, Billie Jo (Robert) Bresnen of Hamilton; a brother, George "Tim" (Pat) Kraus of Lucasville, Ohio; a brother-in-law, Jacque Sheley of Centerville, Ohio; four grandchildren, Alexandria, Andrew, Derek, and Paige. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Martha Anne Sheley. Funeral Service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at 12:00 noon with Rev. Harold Thompson, pastor of the Stahlheber Road Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Miamitown Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon.
