William Merle Willis

William Merle Willis, age 86 of Hamilton, passed away with family by his side on Wednesday, February 18, 2026. Merle was born in Hamilton, Ohio on February 6, 1940 to William Lester and Leona (nee Cox) Willis. Merle loved motorcycles and he loved his church family in Coldwater, Michigan.

Merle is survived by his daughters, Cari Buckley, Lisa Ann Paproski, Tami Everidge and Tara (Karl) Webb; his brother, Jimmy (Betsy) Willis; his grandchildren, Sarah, Justin, Tori, Robert, Kayla, Alyssa, Ashley, Stephanie, Anna, Michael and Tyler; his 17 great-grandchildren; his niece, Tina Burdine; and his beloved pets. Merle was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 52 years, Joan Willis; his daughter, Dora Eisner; and his sisters, Marlene, Clara Jean and Judith.
