William G. Rindler

William G. Rindler, age 82 of Fairfield passed away at Burlington House on Friday, April 8, 2011 at 11:00 PM. He was born in Burkettsville, Ohio on February 19, 1929 the son of Alyos and Marie (McFarland) Rindler. William was a graduate of the University of Dayton in 1952 and was the owner and operator of UNRRA Medical Lab for 33 years, retiring in 1986. He was a member of the K of C #968 and St. Ann Catholic Church. On November 8, 1952 in Hamilton he married Catherine Wocher.

He is survived by his wife of over 58 years, Catherine Rindler of Fairfield; three sons, Stephen (Derene) Rindler of Hamilton, Joseph Rindler of Orlando, Florida, and William Rindler of Lewisburg, Ohio; six daughters, Rose Ann Westall of Fairfield, Theresa (Walt) Rosenzweig of Fairfield, Elizabeth (Ed) Bunting of Key West, Florida, Dana (Tim) Delehanty of Brookville, Ohio, Catherine (Matt) Barnett of Columbus, Ohio and Sarah Broshear of Medina, Ohio; a brother, Al (Joan) Rindler of Hendersonville, North Carolina; twenty-one grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a grandson, Thomas Holloway.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Ann Catholic Church, 3028 Pleasant Avenue, on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at 10:00 AM with Father Stephen Mondiek, Celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Stephen’s Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue on Tuesday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association, Greater Cincinnati Chapter, 644 Linn Street, Suite 1026, Cincinnati 45203, or Burlington House, 2222 Springdale Road, Cincinnati 45231 or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
