William B. Rish

William B. Rish, age 80 of Hamilton passed away at his residence on Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at 4:32 AM. He was born in Wellsville, Ohio on July 7, 1928 the son of William B. Sr. and Anna (Roseberry) Rish. William was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Japan and Korea. He was employed at Armco Steel for 36 years, retiring in 1986. William was a member of C.A.R.E. with Armco, American Legion Post #138, and St. Charles United Methodist Church. On August 18, 1956 in Hamilton he married Helen Egelston.

He is survived by his wife, Helen Rish of Hamilton; a son, Gary (Patricia) Rish of Waterville, Ohio; two granddaughters, Leanna Rish and Hayley Rish; a sister, Esther (James) Volino of Wellsville, Ohio; and numerous other relatives and friends. William will be missed by many family members, friends, and neighbors. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Anthony "Tony" Rish; and four sisters, Betty Salsbury, Anna Morehead, Etura Beadle, and Charlotte Rish.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Saturday, July 12, 2008 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Andy Zinsmeister of St. Charles United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
