William "Bill" Ruder

William C. Ruder, age 74 of Hanover Township, passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2017. William was born in Williamsdale, Ohio on August 25, 1943 to Melvin Ruder and Jane Maupin Ruder. Bill married Christina Pflum February 1, 1975 in Hamilton, Ohio. He was a three sport star and lettered in Football, Baseball and Basketball at Seven Mile and Fairfield High Schools. Bill graduated from Fairfield High School in 1961. He was a hall of fame bowler with three 300 games and an 811 series to his credit. It was the first 800 series in Hamilton in a 40 year span. He retired from Armco Steel after 38 years. Bill was an avid golfer and loved his animals.

Bill is survived by his wife, Christina Ruder; son, Chad Ruder; brothers, Melvin (Diane) Ruder & Robert (Christine) Ruder; many nieces and nephews; best friends, Dean & Shelly Haven; furry family, Sadie, Gracie, Dixie and TJ. Bill was preceded in death by parents; in-laws, Charles & Annalee Pflum; dog, Mollie.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio, on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 11, 2017 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home.
