William T. Saylor

William Terrill Saylor, age 86 of Hamilton passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Sunday, August 14, 2011 at 5:55 AM. He was born in Harlan County, Kentucky on March 2, 1925 the son of Ace and Bertha Saylor. William was employed as a sandblaster at Mosler Safe Company. He was a member of Moose Lodge # 36 and Eagles #407. On December 1, 1949 in Kentucky he married Alberta Saylor.

He is survived by his wife, Alberta Saylor of Hamilton; four children, Sandra (Robert) Thompson of Hamilton, Charles (Viola) Saylor of Tennessee, Anna Saylor-Greeley and Mike (Donna) Saylor, both of Hamilton; six grandchildren, Chris (Rebecca) Saylor, Billy Joe Saylor, Travis Greeley, Joey (Sarah) Greeley, Vanessa (Leroy) Sapp, and Nicholas Saylor; three great-grandchildren, Bruce, Xavier, and Caleb Sapp; and one brother, Berchel (Loretta) Sullivan. He was preceded in death by his parents; seven siblings, Berry Saylor, Raymond, Talton, Tishie, and Rena Blevins, and Edmond and Della Mae Sullivan; and a grandson, Michael Christopher Saylor.

Funeral service will be held at Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Thursday, August 18, 2011 at 2:00 PM Pastor Dave Staiger of Fairfield Wesleyan Church officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held Thursday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
