William Wagers Jr., age 81 of Hamilton, passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2013. He was born in Manchester, KY on March 13, 1932 to William and Martha (Hoskins) Wagers. On October 2, 1971 in Kentucky, he married Carolyn Manns. He retired from Diebold Safe Co. in 1991. He will be sorely missed by family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Wagers; son, Bill (Dawn) Wagers; daughter, Marlene (Curtis) Withrow; son, Butch Manns; daughter, Cathy (Jimmy) Powers; grandchildren, Nicky (Kevin) Mikesell, Ashley, Tyler, Trey, and Andrew Wagers, Kody and Martha Garrison, Faith and Shelby Wagers, Nathan, Alex, and Kaylee Powers, Carl, Chris, and Chelsea Manns; great-grandchildren, Mariah and Charlynn Mikesell, Braiden Wagers, Kaidence nad Nicholas Manns; and his best friend, James Hall. He was preceded in death by his parents; two children, Randy Wagers, and Charlene Wagers; and his siblings.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2013 from 10:00 AM until time of funeral service at 12:00 PM at the Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue with Pastor Vernon Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery.
