William "Bill" Wolke

William I. “Bill” Wolke, age 67 of Oxford, passed away at Bethesda North Hospital on Sunday, October 29, 2023. Known to most as Bill, he was born in Hamilton, Ohio on June 11, 1956 to the late Harry and Verna (Thayler) Wolke. Bill graduated from Talawanda High School, Class of 1974 and attended Ohio University. He worked for Sizemore Excavating for several years before starting his own maintenance service, Mr. Bill’s Maintenance. He later changed the name to It’s Covered and continued to serve the Oxford community. Bill was a member of the Monkey’s Mutual Aid Society in Hamilton. Bill enjoyed the casino, playing a scratch-off and watching football, but above all, Bill loved spending time with his friends at Left Field Tavern and The Circle.

Bill is survived by his wife, Dodi Wolke; his siblings, Harry (Faye) Wolke, Jr., Marian (Peter) Hollis, Kay Giardini, Ray Wolke, and Joe Wolke; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters, Nancy Fox and Margie Woodruff.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November  1, 2023 from 9:00 AM until the time of his Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio. Burial will follow at Springfield Cemetery in Franklin County, Indiana.
