Due to inclement weather, the visitation and funeral service for Wilma Joy Fowler has been rescheduled for Wednesday, January 8, 2025.
Wilma Joy Fowler, age 91 of Hamilton, passed away at her home on Saturday, December 28, 2024. Known to most as Joy, she was born in Baltimore, Maryland on March 3, 1933 to the late Joseph and Terry (Stolts) Jerome. Joy worked at GE with her husband, Paul for many years and had a local dog grooming business. She also provided home care to many seniors, even in her retirement years. She was a dedicated Reds and Bengals fan and enjoyed watching gameshows. Above all, Joy loved spending time with her family and fur babies.
Joy will be dearly missed by her daughter, Tari (Scott) Horbury; her grandsons, Kyle (Mariah) Otto and Chris Otto; her great-grandchildren, Malachi, James, Jonathan, Claire, and one more on the way; her nieces, Kimmy and Karen; her former daughter-in-law, Eleia Otto; her dear friend, Helen Postlewait; as well as many extended family members and friends.
Joy is reunited in Heaven with her husband, Paul Fowler; her sister, Patsy Chiles; and her sister-in-law, Dell Knox.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 from 11:00 AM until her Funeral Service at 12:00 NOON at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave., Hamilton, OH 45013 with Rev. Kris Theobald officiating. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery.
