Wynoaka L. Roberts

Wynoaka L. Roberts, age 80 of Hamilton, has gone to be with God on Saturday, November 20, 2010 at her home. She was born February 21, 1930 in Hamilton, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Ella Cook (nee Cain). She loved being a wife, mother, and homemaker. She also loved to travel. She was deeply religious, creative, and a caring individual. She was a member of the old Millville Church of Christ and, more recently, the Church of the Covenant in Cincinnati. She was preceded in death by both parents; parents-in-law; her first husband, Richard G. Smith, and second husband, Daniel Roberts; and a sister, Audrey (the late Richard) Crockett.

She is survived by her children, Andrea L. Smith and Gary R. Smith, both of Hamilton, and Kathy J. Todd of Ft. Myers, Florida; three sisters, Josephine (the late Richard) Johnson of Leesburg, Florida, Peggy (Sturlen) Beckelhymer of Hamilton, and Patricia (William) Butler of Fairport Harbor, Ohio; two grandchildren, Heather Epstein of Cape Coral, Florida and Steven (Theresa) Todd of Raleigh, North Carolina; two great-grandchildren, Dalton Todd of Ft. Myers, Florida and Kagan Todd of College Corner, Indiana; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other treasured relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave., on Wednesday, November 24, at 12:00 noon with Pastor Glenn Durham officiating. Burial will follow in Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 24 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 noon.
