Yvonne "Bonnie" Hurst

Yvonne "Bonnie" Hurst, age 74 of Hamilton passed away at Fort Hamilton Hospital on Monday, December 20, 2010 at 4:20 PM. She was born in Hamilton on March 4, 1936 the daughter of Leslie and Mamie (Reed) Fuller. Bonnie was employed as a housekeeper at Miami University for 25 years, retiring in 2000. She was a member of New Miami Wesleyan Church. In 1991 in Tennessee, she married Edwin C. Hurst.

She is survived by her husband, Edwin C. Hurst; three sons, Randy (Lorry) Staton, Danny (Vicki) Staton, and Greg (Gina) Staton; three stepsons, David (Lizzette) Hurst, Christopher Hurst, and Joseph (Kim) Hurst; a sister, Hazel Estridge; 13 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and 8 siblings.

Funeral service will be held at the New Miami Wesleyan Church, Elliott and Helvey Avenues, on Thursday at 11:00 AM with Pastor Roger Shaw officiating. Burial will follow in Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
